When I was a little girl, I loved flipping through magazines. To me, they were like books come to life. It was so much fun looking at all the images and reading the stories. I loved the sidebars that added more to the story. There was so much to pour through and discover!
So it probably comes as no surprise that I grew up and started publishing my own magazine, right?
Well, if you saw it coming…you were miles ahead of me. Sure, I graduated college and began a career in journalism. But I always thought I was going to end up working for a music magazine.
Inside, here I am working a day job for a national nonprofit…and running my own Halloween magazine at night.
And I’m thrilled I was able to bring back Spooky Little Halloween—The Magazine for a second year! (You can take a peek inside last year’s issue or grab a digital download of it in my shop.)
This year I doubled the magazine in size, invited some of my favorite content creators to be featured, and generally had a BLAST making this.
