Halloween Haul: Midsummer Scream – Spooky Little Halloween

This year’s Midsummer Scream haul was EXCELLENT.

I got some items I have been eyeing FOREVER. I found some new small businesses to love. I shopped with old favorites. And I was one of the first to grab an exclusive book from Austin Pardun…who I was told by a friend knew who I was, and I just about DIED.

There’s no sense in writing a big long intro to this one. Let’s dive right into everything I picked up at Midsummer Scream this year!

Halloween Haul: Midsummer Scream

After Friday night, I didn’t do a ton of shopping but I have to say…I think this is my best Midsummer Scream haul ever.

I was hanging with Midge Munster Friday evening when we first got onto the floor, and she led me right to Lucky Hellcat. I knew I’d seen their work before, but I absolutely fell in love…and couldn’t resist their 3 prints for $20 deal.

The bat print was featured in this post-MSS reel I did.

I also LOVE those pumpkin pails. They’re just so cute! And, as a Texan, I couldn’t resist the Howdyween sticker. Now to find space on the office wall for all these…

Another booth I had to shop at immediately was Backstitch Bruja. I didn’t have room to bring home a purse (and I already have most of the ones I want from her!), so I opted for my fave headbands and a few keychains.

As I was packing for Midsummer Scream, I was finding myself wishing I had more Halloween keychains, and these lightweight ones are perfect for all year.

Austin Pardun’s booth was another early must-see. I stopped by with Mike from All Hallows Geek, who immediately snapped up one of these books…and I followed suit. It’s full of Austin’s artwork, which is the perfect blend of vintage Halloween and seriously spooky vibes. I love it so much.

I also couldn’t resist that costume party print or a few stickers.

I usually don’t opt for lighter-colored T-shirts, but I fell in love with the colors and the design of this one from The Halloween Shirt Company. It has some serious 60s feels to it. It’s SO cute!

Definitely a spot to shop online if you’re looking for great Halloween tees. Their prices are great, and there are SO many options.

The flag in the center of my haul photo is another item I picked up Friday night. It was flying high above the DRKLGHT Clothing booth, a brand The Spooky Vegan introduced me to years ago, and I needed it for the office since it was only $15.

If you don’t know about Skelly Paper Co. already, clearly you don’t hang around here during the holidays. I am obsessed with Jordan’s wrapping paper and gift supplies. She was kind enough to gift me this mini haul that I plan to use for blog and magazine projects.

DY. ING. I’ve been obsessing over these massive fans from Monster Posse for years, and I am thrilled I finally own one.

I shopped with Jessi Hardesty late in the weekend—i.e. the point where I didn’t know how I was going to get everything home—so I kept my purchases small, but her woodwork was absolutely STUNNING in person. For now, these gorgeous patches will have to do.

Which item would have come home with you?

Let me know in the comments! I always love hearing what items resonate with people.
