Halloween Haul: Texas Haunters Convention

Returning to Texas Haunters Convention was an absolute blast and a great way to kick off the Halloween season.

Especially because it gave me my first chance to Halloween hunt! My favorite part of conventions is getting to see all my spooky friends, but my second favorite part?

The shopping.

Here is what I picked up this year at Texas Haunters Convention in Mesquite, TX and where you can find these items online. Find my full coverage of Texas Haunters 2022 in this post.

Halloween Haul from Texas Haunters Convention

A peak at the full haul.

I was excited to see Haunt Shirts back at Texas Haunters this year, and I just couldn’t resist their Summerween tank tops.

This Hang 10-31 design caught my eye for my upcoming trip to California.

And I loved this one for the bats and jack-o-lantern pineapple.

Any Halloween event in the Dallas area is sure to feature my good friend Rachel who runs VanDolls Folk Art. Her pieces are handmade and absolutely gorgeous. If you love this guy as much as me…you’ll want to keep reading!

I spent the day with @cromwellwitch and @kreepy_kate, and their eagle eyes spotted a booth selling off Halloween items garage sale style. We all scored some fun finds. These picks went into plants in the Spooky Little Office, and those napkins will be perfect for a ghoul’s night cocktail party in October.

Meet Allen! He was just too adorable to leave behind at The Unique Peach’s booth. I loved his cowboy hat and the texture of his sheet…so now he lives in the Spooky Little Office.

I’m always looking for small items I can easily (and safely!) bring back home. I love this cameo necklace from Fizz Jewelry because the chain is extra long. The tombstone magnet from Multifarious Makings is perfect for my freezer door, which is full of Halloween magnets. And I couldn’t walk by the Haunters Against Hate booth without buying a little something to support them too.

And finally, I had to grab a Texas Haunters shirt because it was SO on brand. I love all the spooky Texas details happening here.

And, of course, I had to grab a sticker (round) and magnet (rectangle) at the convention merch booth too.

Which item is your favorite?

Or, better yet, if you attended, let me know in the comments what your favorite purchase of the weekend was!

GIVEAWAY

Before you go…I’m giving away one of the items in this post!

Rachel from VanDoll’s Folk Art sent me home with two of these lantern skulls—one for me, and one for you! All you have to do is leave a comment on this blog post telling me which item in the post you would buy too. (Doesn’t have to be the skull!) With that, you’re entered to win one + a little Halloween mystery box from me full of random spooky goodies.

This giveaway closes on Thursday, Aug. 11 at 9 p.m. CT (convert to your local time), and the winner will be notified via email (from hello@spookylittlehalloween.com) within 24 hours. Once they respond to accept their prize, the blog post will be updated with the winner’s name. If the first winner does not respond to their email within 24 hours, a new winner will be drawn.

International entries are welcome. Best of luck!
